एक समय की बात है एक शेर शिकार की तलाश में इधर उधर घूम रहा था , पूरा दिन उसे कुछ भी नहीं मिला उसकी भूख से हालत ख़राब हो गयी थी , शाम होने को था सूर्यास्त लगभग हो गया तभी चलते चलते उसे एक गुफा दिखाई दिया तथा उसने उसकी महक ली और पता चला की वो एक लोमड़ी का है , शेर के मुँह से पानी टपकने लगा अँधेरा हो गया | तभी कुछ समय बाद लोमड़ी वहाँ पहुँचती है पर वह जैसे ही गुफा में जाती है उसे पंजो का चिन्ह दिखाई देता है उसे शक होता है की उसके प्राणो को खतरा है वह तुरंत एक युक्ति निकाल लेता है परन्तु उसे इस बात को पक्का करने हेतु एक और उपाय किया उसने तेज आवाज बोला "प्रिय गुफा क्या बात है आज तुमने मेरा सम्बोधन नहीं किया " इस पे शेर ने तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए उसका विनम्र सम्बोधन किया "प्रिय लोमड़ी आपका स्वागत है " यह सुनते ही लोमड़ी के पैरो तले जमीन खिसक गयी और उसने उस गुफा के मुँह के सामने काटो के झाड़ लगा के बंद करने का सोचा तथा उसे बंद करके वो वंहा से भाग गया और अपनी बुद्धि के द्वारा अपने प्राणो की रक्षा कर ली |

अरे ये तो एक लोमड़ी का मांद है

लगता है यंहा कोई शेर है
